It’s been a good few months since my last blog. I recently became a house-owner (yay), so my life for the past 4 months has been full of diy and decorating, but now that I’ve settled and house projects have come to a halt, I’ve found myself getting itchy feet again and day dreaming of whisking off somewhere, even if only for a weekend. So to combat those itchy feet, I’m writing a series of blog posts on my top 10 travel destinations in the world.

At the start of this month, my friends, boyfriend and I made a 4 hour+ car journey to the lovely coastal village of Tresaith, for a weekend in Wales. We arrived late morning on a Friday and left late Monday afternoon. Have a read to see what we got up to and all the lovely things Wales has to offer.
Living in Portsmouth, I am very fortunate that I not only live in lovely coastal city, but that I’m also a 1.5 hour drive away from London; straight up the motorway. However, the downside to this is that due to birthdays / shopping trips / weekends away and growing up so near by, myself and my boyfriend have pretty much done everything we ever wanted to do in London. This week, we booked two days in London as we were going to see a show. The question was, what do we do with the rest of our time, that we haven’t already done?
We recently came back from a short break to Berlin. We spent a lot of time researching the city and finding out about things we’d like to do while we were there. So like our trip to New York, I’ve written up a daily report of our visit, in the hope that if someone comes across this it’ll help them, the way others helped me. If not, then it’ll just be nice to look back on and read one day!
New York City has been at the top of my travel bucket list for years and finally, after turning 21, I got to tick off my first milestone on the list! I’ve written an account of our 8 days in New York City, what we think is and isn’t worthwhile doing and hopefully offering a few tips and bits of advice while I’m at it.
My boyfriend and I came back last weekend from doing the Yorkshire Three Peaks, raising money for Cystic Fibrosis. We spent huge amounts of time during the weeks before our challenge, researching our route and asking people for advice and tips. With this in mind, we have written our own Yorkshire Three Peaks guide, to help anyone else who is planning their route and looking for information.
Here is my ultimate travel bucket list. I spend the majority of my days thinking about travelling and where I’d like to visit next (I think my boyfriend despairs of me sometimes, poor guy). But travelling is my main ambition. I can’t sit back and not see the world.
The point in this blog is to have somewhere for me to express my intense desire to travel, get it out of my system and discuss the places we have travelled to – offering some advice and tips. I hope you enjoy!
